Water samples should be taken 18''(40cm) below the surface.

Chlorine Test (CL)
Information:
-Compare your reading with the scale values.
-The scale values represented by a number indicate the quantity of chlorine combined with water.
-For effective treatment, the reading should be between 1.0 and 1.5 (ideal)

Analysis:

1- Rinse the test vial and fill to the mark with water sample.
2- Add 4 drops of OTO(Orthotolidine) solution.
3- Place cap on vial and shake to mix.
4- Compare your reading with the scale values.

Hydrogen Test (PH)
Information:
-Compare your reading with the scale values.
-The scale values represented by a number indicate the PH condition or alkaliinity of the water.
-For comfortable water and a saving of chemical products, the reading should be between 7.2 and 7.6 (ideal)

Analysis:
1- Rinse the test vial and fill to the mark with water sample.
2- Add 4 drops of red phenol solution.
3- Place cap on vial and shake to mix.
4- Compare your reading with the scale values.
